Production notes
Engrave both faces flat before assembly: the inside of the lid from the order's traced fill SVG (280 mm wide for the Standard size), the front face from the order's text typeset in the house serif plus the rings emblem master file. Finish with oil or satin lacquer, then fit two bronze butt hinges at the back and the hasp clasp centred on the front. Run a power/speed test strip on each new wood batch; check every name and date against the order before engraving.
